Warrick Kernes started his first business at the age of 16 selling wooden light switch covers. This entrepreneurial spirit never left him, and he went on to start (and fail in) six more businesses before the age of 30.

In 2010, Warrick co-founded Action Gear, an e-commerce retailer in outdoor high-tech sporting gear, sold the company in 2018, and went on to start Insaka eCommerce Academy.

We spoke to Warrick about why he chose to name the business Insaka, the most ‘surprising’ online business (we had a good chuckle, no spoilers!) that his students have chosen to start, and some common myths about e-commerce.
